Restrooms are available at the front office and gate house off W. Florissant. Parking is anywhere, preferably off the white line on the road. Cemetery etiquette should be followed with respect to families, other visitors, and nearby services. Dogs are fine as long as they are on a leash.

You can find the trail off of the white tour line. Road maps are available at the front office off W. Florissant. Parking is available along all the roads, but preferably off the more frequently trafficked white tour line, which is about 3.7 mile meandering drive, walk, or bike around the cemetery. This short trail explores a different side of the cemetery and is a short distance away from the William Clark grave. Great birding area and often unexplored.

There are a few boulder crossings along the swale but they are pretty well marked with secure footing otherwise its a short loop up and down a hill with some unexpected views for this area of the city.

There is a 3 acre restored prairie at Evergreen Meadow with lots of native wildflowers, birds, and pollinators. There are some amazing trees along the trail as well; large post oaks, black oaks, sassafras, persimmon, black gum, and more.
