Maho Bay Beach [Suggest Edits]

Description

Calm, tranquil waters lap up against a long sliver of spectacular sand. Maho Bay is further from the main town of Cruz Bay than the other North Shore beaches, but worth the trek. The water is crystal clear and snorkeling above sea turtles is a great way to lose yourself. Or, just chill on the beach and watch the pelicans dive for their lunch. Because it's further away, parking is usually easier, except at the busiest times of day and seasons. There are a few covered picnic tables and latrines. Be ready to do almost nothing.

On the Road: Parking is next to the beach, but don't park along the sand. Unless you're in one of the handful of paved parking slots near the canopy/covered picnic tables, park on the other side of the road. At the far end of the road, there's a dirt/gravel parking lot.
