Description

From the north parking lot you'll find the trail by the picnic area bathrooms. The 1.5 mile narrow dirt path is either an easy out-and-back to the little butte or can be used as a connector to the peak of Sattleback Butte. The elevation gain is modest and the sandy dirt is easy on the feet. During the cooler months the little butte is a great spot for golden hour photography and seasonal wildflowers.

Flora & Fauna

Flora includes Joshua Trees, cacti, scrub brush, and wildflowers. Jackrabbits, coyote, rattlesnakes, lizards, desert tortoises are among the fauna can be found here.
