Description
The peak of Canjerana (1,890m) is the easiest access of all Caraça. The access trail starts at the access road before entering the historic site. It is flat to the region of Campos de Fora. From this point, the trail makes a long ascent of approximately 4 km, which follows a winding path to the peak. It is an old road that served as access to the top, because in times past there was an energy substation in Canjerana.
On good weather days, from the Canjerana it is possible to observe all the other six main peaks of Caraça, namely: Carapuça (1.955m); Conceição (1,800m); Infiction (2,068m);
Pico do Sol (2,072m); Three Brothers or Trindade (1,675m) and Verruguinha (1,650m).
