Overview

This is a great loop with some nice views, fun singletrack, and rolling ups and downs.

Need to Know

It's not a hard run but it's a long one, so it's better to take a lot of water. Be careful with the bikers on the sections where it is singletrack trail. The run starts and ends in Alphaville.

Description

From the Milkshake - Peninsula dos Passaros trail, you'll connect to the Matinha - Canaleta Trail, where you'll enjoy running along Canaleta Creek. Be careful as there are some parts of the trail where you could fall.

From the Matinha - Canaleta Trail, run south on a dirt road before heading east to connect to the Milkshake East Loop Trail. This six-mile long trail has some fun and challenging ups and downs and loops south then west to connect to the Milkshake Trail. This part of the Milkshake Loop begins at the creek and goes uphill to the top of the paragliding school. From the summit, you'll run a long and smooth downhill.

From here, you connect back to the Milkshake - Peninsula dos Passaros singletrack. This rolling singletrack trail follows along the water, heading north back to Alphaville. It is the last portion of the Milkshake Loop when running the loop clockwise. This part of the trail is when you get in the Peninsula dos Passaros and see all the Lagoa dos Ingleses.
