Description

This trail is blazed red and runs from the fishing pond and picnic area at the north end of the park to the swimming area in the center of the park.

Starting on the east side of the fishing pond, this trail enters the wooded area of the park and meanders a bit over a few streams and relatively flat terrain. It then passes the park's covered bridge and double tracks on the Covered Bridge Trail briefly. It then ascends a rocky escarpment at a steady grade. From here the trail curves back and forth twice, each time losing and then gaining altitude on rocky inclines. After those curves, the trail turns to the west sharply and descends steeply to its terminus at the swimming area.
