Runner Notes
The trail is paved with minimal elevation change, making for a steady run. Trail loops so you can take as many laps as you want, with a parking lot nearby.
Description
This paved trail is perfect for walkers, runners, and families looking for a stroll. The loop allows for continuous circuits, and has other trails that branch off and head deeper into the woods. Towne Trail is unshaded, with all of the trees forming a perimeter around it, but this allows for great views of sunrises and sunsets. A healthy prairie grows in the middle of the loop which allows for plenty of chances to see wildlife such as deer, turtles, and smaller woodland creatures. The Towne Trail is perfect for families that have younger children in strollers, and dogs on leash will love the smells and sights.
