After Oil Camp Creek, parts of Pinnacle Pass Trail becomes more challenging compared to the first half, giving this trail its difficulty rating and time needed to hike it.

Not all blaze in trees looking for trail, this part of trail went out by a steep edge maybe not comfortable for some. Provides a great view, overlook areas of trail and behind me was a nice stream running off the slab on my left side the trail crosses.
I believe that this might be some of an upper part of an earlier fall seen from across Oil Camp Creek. It is a slippery crossing (especially with a pack) and not the only one along this trail but this one had a hand cable to hold onto so no problems.

After Oil Camp Creek, parts of Pinnacle Pass Trail becomes more challenging compared to the first half, giving this trail its difficulty rating and time needed to hike it.
I believe that this might be some of an upper part of an earlier fall seen from across Oil Camp Creek. It is a slippery crossing (especially with a pack) and not the only one along this trail but this one had a hand cable to hold onto so no problems.
Climbing fast up steep parts of Pinnacle Pass trail, a few openings will give little views out into the surrounding valley you were just at with Oil Camp Creek.
Sections of Pinnacle Pass Trail will require a little climbing, not all spots as comfortable looking as this but some areas like this also make you pause, looking for where the trail goes when it almost feels like a dead end.
There will be a lot of slabs like this along the trail, some with a little water running down it which you'll have to work around with little paths or cross following the trail but amazing to look at.
Seen descending Pinnacle Pass Trail, a water fall across Oil Camp Creek, which later we walk across the slippery top of I believe or becomes part of it as the trail continues.
Pinnacle Pass Trail crosses Oil Camp Creek using an old bridge. Was very quiet, lunch and refill water area as trail continues up hill from here quickly just on other side or right is a trail out to Oil Camp Creek Rd I believe.
