Description
Saltpeter Cave is a huge rock shelter carved into a bluff by Lusk Creek. The views of the creek both upstream and down are just beautiful any time of year. Cross the creek, climb up in the cave, and take a break. This is a must see if running this area!
Short Run: Run in on either Trail #481 or Trail #481A. Both are fairly easy trails. Trail 481A is best accessed by car in the drier months as the road can get pretty bad.
