Description

Indian Kitchen is part of the Lusk Creek Canyon, and this place is one of the best wonders of the Shawnee National Forest. It can see pretty heavy horse traffic in warmer months, but during the winter this wilderness is closed to equestrian use. I highly suggest seeing this place!

Short Run: There are a couple options to get here. There's an official trailhead with a 2-ish mile rather boring trail or you can follow my route and go in via Bear Branch Creek Trail #405. Both trails are about the same distance and are out-and-backs. My route is more scenic.
