Mummy Cliff from Panorama Point
[Suggest Edits]
Description
A part of the 87 mile long Waterpocket Fold, the dark red Moenkopi siltstone and mudstone has formed the beautiful Mummy Cliffs. You can either admire the red cliffs from below at Panorama Point (and several other spots as far away as Hogback Ridge on clear days) or take Chimney Rock Trail to see Capitol Reef Canyon and all that surrounds it.
On the Road: A part of the Hwy 24 drive, you can stop at several points to either view or run to the cliff.
