Leaving the square in the center of Honório Bicalho, to get to the trailhead you'll run 3 km uphill on dirt road. From here, the entrance to the singletrack is at a junction with several other road and trails. Use caution at the start of this trail as it is a singletrack with a ravine on the left side and the stream that channeled into a waterfall that carries water to supply the city. There are not much room for error, and one should be careful to stay on the trail which is quite narrow along this stretch.

Upon arriving at a plateau, you'll finish the trail by descending carefully to the waterfall. There is a steel cable to assist in the descent, and you many want to use gloves and be very careful because the wet stones can make you slip.
The waterfall is quite beautiful and well worth a visit!
