Access this trail from Butler St. near the intersection of 7th & Butler. The trail begins with a steep switchback and then rolls along the edge of a steep bank. A short way into the trail, you'll cross a landing on a giant set of stairs and not long after that, the trail empties to the edge of the road leading to Marietta Middle School.

The singletrack continues for approximately 300ft on your left in the parking lot. At the top of the ridge, the trail comes to the edge of a backyard and then crosses a small street. Bear to the right, passing between posts blocking an abandoned city street. The trail descends to Greene Street following what little remains of the old roadway.
