Runner Notes

Most of this trail is extremely steep. It is also very, very hot in the summer time. There is no shade or water available along the trail.

Description

There are two mailboxes at the top full of notebooks and letters that people have written in remembrance of Jack Edwards, who died of leukemia in 1995. It is a beautiful tribute.

Flora & Fauna

The flowers appear in the spring and don't last long into summer because of the heat. This is a great winter climb when many other trails are inaccessible.
