This is a non-official, user made trail.

Description

This is a steep user made trail through loose volcanic rock. It is a more pleasurable way to access the summit of South Sister if you have the time to use Green Lakes as a base camp. The trail is marked by carns in the few places it is not obvious where the path lies. It starts out the outlet of the largest of the Green lakes and joins the main South Sister climbers trail at the Lewis Glacier tarn.
