Overview

A short, paved trail to a falls behind the Gorge Powerhouse. The falls are illuminated by a nightly lightshow running from dusk to midnight year-round, yet the falls themselves are a sight to behold at any time of day

Description

There are signs near the powerhouse marking the trail, which is paved and lined with several benches. Take a moment to enjoy the falls, then return to your car via a suspension bridge over the Skagit River.

History & Background

The Ladder Creek Falls trail was build to celebrate the construction of the Gorge Powerhouse and demonstrate the power of the waters running the facility. Since its construction the falls have shrunk considerably, yet are still accessible via this trail.
