Parking in the campground area is for campers only. This trail must be accessed from other trails by non-campers.

Description

Heading out at the end of the Hollofield Campground loop, this trail begins with a moderate descent. It quickly crosses an open field right away before curving back around and crossing it again. From here, the trail levels out, skirting the ridge just below the campground.

About halfway through, the path cuts back in towards the road, with a slight climb before heading downhill again to meet the River Ridge Trail. Depending on the season, this trail can offer scenic views of the Patapsco Valley below.
