There is parking by the trailhead, and restrooms at the interpretive center.

Trail A is a singletrack dirt trail through the woods of Freedom Park in Williamsburg, Virginia. There is not a lot of elevation but there is a significant amount of up and down on the trail. It is a nice change of pace from the paved multi-use paths elsewhere in Williamsburg.

Trail A is marked periodically with posts with blue blazes that have "A" on them. It is easy to follow despite other trails intersecting it.
