This trail has a marker near the Boy Scout bunkhouse, just a few feet from the parking area. The start is clearly marked.

From the parking lot, take the closest trailhead into a mix of buildings. Near the bunkhouse, three trails spur off; the farthest right is the Toboggan Slope Trail, according to the signage.

This trail loosely follows a hilltop, until it eventually meets up with the Red Rock Trail roughly half a mile from the start.

The trail wanders through a fantastic restored prairie, meaning partridge pea, sumac, and big bluestem hem in the trail from both sides.
