This trail starts at the Hidden Lake Circle Trailhead, what looks like an empty cul-de-sac, sure to be developed sooner or later, but for now, access has been maintained. Very shortly after leaving your car, you'll receive a direct hit from a cell tower device that is installed at ground-level, near the trail, and aimed in a direction perpendicular to the trail. After your dose of radiation, you'll run along yet another section of the gas pipe-line, then leave it to gain a ridge that leads to a hill with a large cairn that I like to call the second crux as described in City Creek North Ridge to Rudy's Flat.
