This area is great for beginners and families. There is some singletrack but mostly it is old doubletrack with very moderate grades.

Heading east (counter-clockwise) on singletrack you'll encounter the only rough section which is about 20 feet long. Other than that it is smooth as the trees open up into meadow. At the east end are some swooping turns and then the trail heads back west gradually climbing on old doubletrack.
