You'll have to take the Brook Trail a short ways to get to this trail. David's Loop heads north from Brook Trail through thick forest that offers nice colors in the fall. The trail bends back to the south after less than half a mile.

After one mile it rejoins the Brook Trail, which you would have to use to actually create a full loop. David's Loop is a gentle ascent of less than 200 feet that's distributed along its entire length.
