As the name implies, this trail passes around an area of the park previously used as a pasture in the ranching days. It's a pretty easy doubletrack offering some gratuitous mileage inflation after you've done some of the more difficult trails on the west side of the park and are left feeling like you don't have much to show for it. Because it is former pasture land, there isn't as much cedar as some of the other trails, so you can expect to get more sun.
