Runner Notes

This one is a short, but solid addition to any trail run loop to provide a different "texture" to your run. Gaiters are good to keep the sand out of your shoes. Be aware that wash trails are subject to flash flooding.

Description

One of many parallel wash trails in this park. Like running in sand? This wash is mostly ankle deep sand. It connects the Channel Trail / Levee Trail to the Blevins Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Jackrabbits and coyotes are common.
