Runner Notes

I prefer the Channel Trail to this one, but use the Levee Trail if Channel is full of water or is too muddy. Don't cut up the side of the Levee except at the designated areas.

Description

This trail is mostly a flat, gravel road on the top of a levee that makes up the southern border of the park. The western edge is not paved, but the trail is hardly rugged. It connects the Moon Rock Trail with the southern edges of the wash trails and terminates at Spillway Trail. The views are nice since the levee is elevated above most of the surrounding area.

The Channel Trail offers a great view of the distant Superstition Mountains.
