Description

This is a nice trail for hiking, running, mountain biking, and even horseback riding (nothing motorized allowed). The trail crosses several streams and passes near a large lake. Expect to see many birds and perhaps a rabbit or deer also. The path is very wide and includes one or two step sections, but nothing technical. Also the path was, for the most part cleared, but there were two large down trees that I had to climb over...again, not difficult.

A great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Flora & Fauna

Expect to see Georgia pines, oaks, maples, sweetgums, hickories, and poplars. During the spring, there would likely be wildflowers growing along the path. Also, look for a large variety of birds, as well as rabbits and deer.
