A wide, dirt fire road that climbs and descends along the contours of the ridgeline. This would make for a great point-to-point route or a serious out-and-back journey. Bring lots of water for this dry area.

This fire road stretches north from the Castellammare trailhead off Vista Pacifica St on the southern end of Topanga State Park. It provides an alternate access point to the Los Liones Trail and makes up the majority of the Parker Mesa Overlook featured run.

Past the turnoff for the Parker Mesa Overlook Spur, this fire road undulates along the ridgeline heading north toward Topanga, Trippett Ranch, and the popular Eagle Rock Loop. For an epic day, one could approach that loop run using this southern start point.
