Description

The trailhead for this pleasant route starts on a 'blink and you'll miss it' parking lot on State Road. The trail starts on the side of the lot opposite the info station. Don't be discouraged by first impressions; the trail quickly widens from a mild thicket to a repurposed gravel road with beautiful cathedral trees on either flank, providing shade. Although trail is pristine, you'll never be out of ear shot of nearby Neversink Drive and State Road. The trail is marked with plastic orange blazes, like other trails it intersects.
