Features: Fall Colors — Lake — River/Creek
This hike is a shorter version of the Blue Mountain Trail
, using the Tinsley Trail
to cut over from the West side of the Blue Mountain Trail
to the East side. Follow the blue markers for about 6.5 miles, and head East following the yellow markers for 2 mile, until you see the blue markers again. The full trail is 17.3 mile, this hike is 11.4. The start is close the the Park office.
Not a difficulty hike, but some stretches have many boulders, which can be slippery when wet. You'll enjoy great views of lakes and and hike along (and cross) beautiful streams. In the five hours it toom me to complete this hike, I did not see a single person.
