Description

This section of the Finger Lakes Trail is a long, rolling segment. From the start, you'll gain the most elevation in the first 7 miles, before things begin to level out. Runners will find themselves traveling from the area just south of Ithaca through the Danby State Forest. The way will be singletrack, and visitors will be able to get a sense of wilderness while on trail. Watch for obstacles such as roots and rocks along the way.
