Description

This trail is one of many connector trails between the heavily-used Colorado Trail and FR 543. Due to the heavy traffic on the Colorado Trail, be aware of cyclists and other visitors.

Taking this branch expands many loop options, where runners can add mileage to their journeys. The terrain runs from sandy to firm hardpack, but there is the occasional root or rock thrown in, too. As you're passing by, be sure to slow down to admire the unique geologic formations and picturesque landscape.
