This trail starts at the small parking area on the north side of Canyon Blvd. (across from Eben G. Fine) and ends at the Mount Sanitas Trail. The Red Rocks Spur trails split off of this trail right near the trailhead, about midway through and again at the end. The trail climbs steeply up to a saddle by way of an eroded fall line path, and then descends on a wide dirt access road. There are a few water bars on the south facing pitch that will get the quads burning.

Scramble around the rocks at the top for some great views of Boulder!
