Housed in the main building of the Blue Heron Nature Preserve are the headquarters of the Atlanta Audubon Society and the Amphibian Foundation.

An easy loop that borders the shores of Nancy Creek in one of the four distinct habitats of the 30-acre Blue Heron Nature Preserve. After passing the Nancy Creek overlook, the trail meets Rickenbacker Dr NE. Follow the road NNW over the Nancy Creek bridge to rejoin the tail as it meanders SSW.
