From Rideau Trail: Frontenac Segment or Cataraqui Trail: Central Segment, this trail follows Maple Leaf Rd NE for 1.7 km, then goes left (north) on Billy Green Rd for 4.5 km to a fork in the road. The trail goes along the right fork for 1.5 km, then along a track through woods with a ravine right. It crosses two streams, 800 m apart, and continues 800 m on a gravel road to a junction 10.3 km from the start.

From the junction, this trail goes ahead (northeast) on the gravel Massassauga Rd, crosses a bridge after 4.5 km, and after another 500 m reaches the Rideau Trail: Bedford Mills Segment at Taggarts Lane on the right.
