“This is a loop around the lake and can be travelled in either direction.”— James Astolas
The technical climbs are somewhat steep with large roots making the footing difficult. There are also wooden bridges to cross along the trail.
The trail has two areas that lead you to the main road for a brief period and then puts you back onto the actual trail again. The trail is marked with blue paint or wooden signs with a blue mark.
There are a few logs as well, but these have a little dirt ramp to make getting over a little easier. About a quarter-mile of the trail is on the park side, which is open area with gravel for the trail. There are pavilions and bathrooms as well.
