Trail shared by Charles Danforth

Sometimes you've got to run pavement to get across town. This is the fastest way to do it.

Need to Know

This route crosses several streets. Look both ways. A push-button blinking sign protects the crossing at Cherry Street, but look both ways there anyway.

Description

This is a paved path connecting Dillon Road (and the Coal Coal Creek Trail) to the Louisville Rec Center on Via Appia crossing several other major roads on the way. The trail slopes steeply downhill at the north end becoming rolling as it passes Fireside Elementary School.

Flora & Fauna

Mostly the wildlife you'll see is people walking their dogs, but I did see a coyote once late at night.
