Trail shared by Craig Marshall - RHS

An excellent half marathon course for beginner and intermediate trail runners, with rolling hills and groomed trails.

Craig Marshall - RHS

Features -none-

The ASC Greenway charges $5 for entry for non-members.

Overview

The course roams around the ASC Greenway, but does avoid the most heavily used bike trails. The course includes almost all of the lakes on the Greenway.

Description

The course starts around the Mary Warner Mack Dog Park, then along the rail road right of way. After crossing under the railroad trestle (ask veterans about the train wreck incident), the course follows Steele Creek to Lake Haigler, through the peach orchards and past the horse pastures. After passing by the mill stone, the course ends on a solid uphill back to finish.
