Trail shared by Rich Greeley

A singletrack down the back side of Walnut Mountain to Guerdat Road at Buttrick Trail.

Rich Greeley

Features -none-

State of CT law says that dogs should be leashed but low volume area means most people don't leash.

Description

This is a decent singletrack that's about as smooth as possible in this rocky terrain. This trail traverses down the north face of Walnut and turns right onto an old logging road, crossing a swamp, and emerging on Guerdat Road. Use the Buttrick Road Trail or Guerdat Road to return to Burr/Paugnut Main Loop.
