“This is a generally downhill trail heading south with a few creek crossings and one climb at the William Brien Shelter.”

The total trail has some excellent sections for runners. There are a number of rocky brook crossings but they are few and far between.
The Menomine Trail is typically used as the beginning and end section for the Stockbridge Mountain
run. However, the trail stretches to the east and south along Silver Mine Lake toward the William Brien Memorial and ends at the Red Cross Trail between Goshen Mountain and Big Bog Mountain.
