“A mostly on-road section of the Sheltowee Trace NRT.
— Ranger Danger
Birding · River/Creek · Waterfall
Starting at the junction of Sheltowee Trace NRT: Section 28
with 700, continue south for a little over 2 miles (staying on the left will not only let you see the oncoming cars, but also be in a good position to see the trail marker). The trail then drops to an old logging road (which wasn't in bad shape) that runs near a small creek and presents the sole interesting part to this section: a seasonal waterfall. Cross 700 and you are onto the much more interesting (and challenging) Sheltowee Trace NRT: Section 30
