Description

This trail is a fairly wide trail that connects the upper Blevins Trail and Meridian Trail to the southern part of the park where there is an entry gate (Signal Butte Rd. and McLellan Rd). This trail is used a lot by people on horseback, but is generally lightly used. The texture of the trail is more fine sand than rocky like other trails in the park. The sand is not ankle-deep like most of the wash trails, but the trail is soft. There is a very gradual upward slope of the trail from south to north.

Flora & Fauna

Saguaro, poppies, cholla, rabbits, ground squirrels
