This race allows folks to marvel at the Tsali Trail System, which lies in the majestic mountains of Western North Carolina. Tsali features some of the most well-groomed and breathtaking trails in the world stretching alongside the scenic Fontana Lake.

Need to Know
This is a early winter race. Come prepared for varying conditions. There are four aid stations included on the course and one drop bag location at mile 15.
It is an easy drive to the location on paved roads and there is plenty of parking at the start line.
Located in the Nantahala National Forest, Tsali offers a variety of exciting and fast, yet technical terrain that will challenge everyone from the beginner to the most seasoned trail runner. Tsali offers world-class singletrack trails! Here are a few of the course highlights. Views of Lake Fontana and the Great Smokey Mountains. Wildlife including turkey, deer, and grouse. There are also several historic home sites and a few creek crossings.
