Description

The other half of Southern Voyager Trail, this trail is often used to complete a circuit between the trailheads. It is mostly a dirt trail that goes along the lakes. It is not completely flat - there are enough hills to make it interesting, but they aren't very long, steep, or difficult compared to many other trails you may find in other regions.

The trail is mostly shaded and very popular, though it's rare that you have to step off trail to allow someone else to pass. The trail can be used for cross country skiing in the winter, and is an excellent place to go that's not far from the cities.

Flora & Fauna

Occasional deer and small animals can be spotted on the shore and birds can be seen near the various trees and flowers that inhabit the park. This trail runs along some lakes where you can see turtles, fish, and frogs.
