Runner Notes

Very steep in places. Watch for roots, rocks, and loose bits. The odd tree is down up here but volunteers are pretty good at maintaining this part of the trail.

Description

This is the back side of the Grant Hill Aquifer trail network. It is very challenging as it features switchbacks, areas so steep that steps were cut into the hill to provide stairs, and a steep drop off on one side of the trail. It's definitely not for beginners, but once you are able to run this trail you definitely will feel a sense of accomplishment. Watch for loose sections, rocks, and roots.

Flora & Fauna

West Coast rainforest type vegetation.
