Features: River/Creek — Wildflowers — Wildlife
From town, start the McClintock Lower Trail either from Bellevue Drive or from the parking area south of the Chautauqua Auditorium. Head uphill through a grove of cottonwood and willow, paralleling Bluebell Creek. The grade is pretty gentle here and the trail is wide. The McClintock Lower Trail ends at a 4-way junction with the road-like Enchanted Mesa Trail
going roughly east-west and the narrower McClintock Upper
Trail leading straight ahead.
the McClintock Trails were named after the Chautauqua Park board member (Henry McClintock) whose family donated funds for interpretive trail signage.
