“Easy paved trail between the shores of Lake Alice and the St. Croix river.”
— Robert Nack
Features: Birding — Fall Colors — Lake — River/Creek — Swimming — Views — Wildflowers — Wildlife
Start from where the trail comes down the hill from the main park, or from any of the parking lots along Lake Alice. Views along the lake are picturesque, and along the river you can watch as the paddlers float by.
If this trail is too easy, make sure to utilize the path up the hill and try out the William O'Brian Tour.
Flora & Fauna
Northern pike‚ walleye‚ bass‚ and brook trout can all be found within the St. Croix River.
