Lots of rocks.

Description

This is a short but difficult trail. It starts near the end of the Spring Trail and the top of Rainbow Mountain. The easiest way to get there is by starting from the playground entrance of Rainbow Loop Trail traveling northeast rather than south, turning right on Spring Trail and making another almost immediate right onto Wild Trail.

What the Wild Trail lacks in length, it makes up for in relentless ankle-breaking rocks. It's a fun trail, but you must exercise careful and considerate foot placement at all times.

I have written an article about Rainbow Mountain if you would like to learn more about this property, please visit my website HuntsvilleOutdoors.com.
