Overview

This run combines the Old Railroad Bed Trail and the Alms House Trail into a quick, beautiful trek. View a variety of wildflowers, water features, and tree-lined trail.

Runner Notes

Can get muddy quickly due to all the stream crossings.

Description

Beginning at the back of the Land Trust parking lot, run past the pavilion on the right to get to Old Railroad Bed Trail. Your run will begin by crossing a sturdy bridge. You'll also trek through a clearing for power lines that offers a view of the valley. To turn back to the parking lot, split off to the Alms House Trail. At this point, you'll cross a stream, and immediately begin the climb back up with a few quick, challenging switchbacks.
