Runner Notes

Like most trails in the area, there are plenty of rocks and roots a majority of the way. One of the worst sections that requires the most caution is through the power line cut where there are a lot of large sharp rocks you just run across. Of course where there is pain there is also gain because the power line cut offers the best view on the trail.

Description

This trail can only be reached from other trails. Either via the Certain Trail at its southern end or the Sugar Tree Trail at its north end. Varnedoe Trail features mostly small rolling trails until its southern end which features a very aggressive climb to the top of Green Mountain.
