Old logging tracks switchback their way up to the old granite-mining ledge, tucked away near great views of Brattleboro.

Description

You could run this trail as an out-and-back, though I recommend running it with someone and parking a shuttle vehicle at the Madame Sherri Forest Parking Area at the other end. From the Wantastiquet side, the trail is pretty obvious to the top as it climbs a series of steep, serpentine switchbacks on a pleasant tread.

At the top, continue past the outlook to the radio cell tower, where signs will direct you to Madame Sherri Forest Parking Area, if you choose that route. Otherwise, enjoy awesome views and the granite quarry before descending the way you came.
